The Inso monitor has been released! According to the Federal Statistical Office, the final insolvency figures for April 2022 are at a similar level compared to previous months: -3.5% compared to March 2022, which clearly contradicts the forecast figure of -20.8%.
Compared to the previous year, fewer insolvencies were reported in the first four months of 2022 than in the same period of 2021, although the insolvency filing requirement has been in full force again since May 2021 (since February 2022 for companies affected by the July flood).
According to preliminary figures from the Federal Statistical Office, a further increase in insolvencies of 8.4% is expected in May this year. For June 2022, the figures are once again falling by 7.6%. More about this in the upcoming Inso Monitor.
